All About Holistical, The Journey So Far…
Holistical has been many years in the making; created by Julie Brandon-Smith, and is a culmination of hopes and dreams, wants, and needs, and ultimately, the urge to help others who have like me; experienced life-changing events.
It is born out of love, never willing to give up, frustration and sheer blood, sweat and tears... many tears; trying to overcome very ordinary and everyday situations.
Before I properly introduce myself, I would like to thank my loved ones, friends, colleagues, and Subtle Brain Injury experts for standing by me, caring, and helping me in every way possible. Without your love and support, this would not be possible, and I, therefore, want to dedicate Holistical to all of you. Thank you.
In 2008 (working as a Teaching and Learning Support Assistant alongside young people with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties) my life changed permanently after a car accident. At first, the injuries seemed minor, but I soon realised I was not recovering as I should. It took 4 years to find a correct diagnosis: Subtle Brain Injury along with other permanent head, neck, and back injuries.
Many years later, although different in many ways, I am still Jewels. After much physiotherapy and other therapies, I have learned to do most things differently and have become much stronger and wiser.
I have retrained to become fully qualified and insured to give clients the best opportunity to attain the highest levels of health, happiness, and quality of life.
As a Life Coach and Mentor, I can encourage you to find a happy, healthy, and meaningful quality of life.
As a Practitioner, through a combination of ancient, traditional, and complementary therapies, we can together discover how to live life to the full.
Mediation has been one of the best life skills gained at an early age and has been regularly practiced and developed over the years.
